Since 1998, Al Mehran Rural Development Organization (AMRDO) has worked with marginalized rural communities across Sindh and parts of Balochistan to create inclusive, sustainable, and dignified livelihoods.

AMRDO has installed 2,580 shallow hand pumps, repaired 50 wells, and set up 345 underground water tanks and 440 Nadi f ilters.

The organization has provided health awareness to 12,300 households, distributed 11,500 hygiene kits, and organized 78 health camps.

Education programs have enrolled over 13,500 students and trained 1,990 youth in technical skills like embroidery, sewing, and IT.

WHO WE ARE

Al Mehran Rural Development Organization (AMRDO) is a nationally recognized, non-profit NGO founded in 1998 and registered under the Societies Act XXI of 1860. AMRDO operates in over 21 districts of Sindh and parts of Balochistan, uplifting underserved communities through access to education, healthcare, clean water, sustainable livelihoods, and disaster response.
