AMRDO is working tirelessly to empower communities, particularly women and smallholder farmers, in the Agriculture and Livelihood sector. Our mission is to reduce poverty and improve the economic status of individuals through income generation activities. To achieve this goal, we are focused on facilitating an enabling and gender-transformative environment for conducting economic activities by engaging all key actors, both private and public, who are involved in market value chains and entitlement delivery.

One of our core mandates is to help women from marginalised communities to earn their livelihoods using a variety of non-agricultural avenues. Our approach is to support sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural practices, improve nutrition security, and build climate change resilience against various kinds of shocks and stresses.

Our innovative initiatives, such as Kitchen Gardening, Poultry Distribution, Agri Fertilizer Distribution, Livestock Vaccination, Goat Distribution, Fodder Distribution, and Sewing Machine Distribution, are making a real impact in the lives of people in rural Sindh. Our approach to these initiatives is not just about providing resources, but also about promoting individual and institutional capacities and transforming vulnerability to risks in the areas of agriculture and livelihood.
